    Fun!

This has been a great book for my reluctant reader who has seen the movies and knows the characters and "short stories." The type is large and spaced nicely for a 3rd-4th grader to easily read. The pictures are like a scrapbook. Each chapter has been great for reviewing characters, setting, conflict, rising actions, etc. We even had Pippi Day where we rolled ginger cookies on the kitchen floor.

TIMELESS....I REREAD BEFORE GIVING TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER!

When I was a little girl, I read Pippi Longstocking and my love of reading began. Her adventures are timeless and the imagination soars when you read it. I once again laughed at her reasoning and marveled at her big heart. I couldn't help but to want to share this with my precious granddaughter, so that she too could experience Pippi;s attics!

    Wonderful book for young girls

It's amazing that a book written so long ago can inspire the children of the 21st century who are growing up in a tech-oriented society.
