Meet the Author

Stan & Jan Berenstain were already successful cartoonists when they had a great idea for a children's book. Their sons, Leo and Mike, had just begun to read, and they decided to create a funny family who would have the everyday adventures children really want to read about. The first story starring the Bear family, The Big Honey Hunt, appeared in 1962. Since then, more than 250 Berenstain Bears books have been published, and over 260 million copies sold, making the Berenstain Bears arguably the best-selling children's book series ever.

    Enjoyable!

This book is simply an enjoyable read for my little ones. They are engaged by the stories, and there is nothing in them to make a parent flinch and wish they hadn't read, which is hard to come by.

    Love this Book!

My 5-year-old daughter just loves the Berenstain Bears, and she bought this book with her own money. I love the fact that it has multiple stories in one book, for one low price.

    4 Lessons to learn

This book describes four lessons for children to learn, and each is of responsibility. One of them is caring for a baby chipmunk. The others are for your child to read.
