Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Waters deftly adds a contemporary tone in description and dialogue to her smooth rendering of 60 familiar and less-well-known tales. . . . With its many comic touches, this anthology presents once again the humor, folly, ingenuity, and wisdom that make Aesop so durable."  —School Library Journal on Aesop's Fables
"This combination of straightforward language and winking illustrations is a winning one that begs to be read aloud at either bedtime or in storytime and would be ideal in a classroom setting." —Booklist
