Riccardo Venturi has photographed Afghanistan for eight years, analyzing the dramatic changes that tormented this beautiful country. Riccardo Venturi,born in Rome in 1966, dedicated himself to photojournalism since the beginning. In 1997 he won the World Press Photo award for his work in Afghanistan and in 1999, he received an honourable mention from the Leica Medal of Excellence for his photos in Kosovo.
