Meet the Author

J.R. Durbin lives in a small town in Northern Minnesota. When asked what was important to her as a writer, this was her answer.

"Speaking for myself, my books have to do three crucial things for my readers: have them sitting at the edge of their seat, bring tears to their eyes, and make them laugh. When my readers finish one of my books, I want them not only to walk away feeling like they have just been on an emotional roller coaster ride, but have only one thing to say...wow!!! If that happens, then I know I did my job."

I researched the author because I was convinced that this book had been written in a different language and was translated into English by some 2nd year English student. The grammar errors are unbelievable. Poor word usage is equally awful. The story line is ok, but it's hard to stay involved because the grammar and wording are so distracting. Yikes!

    Glad it was free

Spend a few bucks and hire an English grad student to edit and correct the grammar errors. I would be embarrassed
to have my name on this book with all the errors!

    Good Mystery

Good mystery, very different than most FBI stories where a serial killer is being hunted.

Main character has psychic abilities and meets up with an elite "ghost" FBI unit to hunt down a killer/kidnapper.

Very good read, couldn't put down or wait to see whom the killer was. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is this book needs to be edited better. TONS of typos and grammatical errors on every page which is distracting from the story.

    FANTASTIC READ..FIVE STAR BOOK

I really enjoyed this book. The more i got into this book, the more i could not walk away from it. It's so different from any FBI Mystery books i have read. By the time i reached the end, all i could say was how amazing this story was. I have already started this author's second book, Purple Rose. I'm hooked. a five star all way!
