Courtesy of Readergirl Reviews a Teen Book

After Adam was a book I found while trolling through the Barnes and Noble online shelves. It appears to be a self-published book, and it is living proof that self-published authors can be really awesome writers and that their books can really sparkle. I absolutely loved this book. The story was simple, and when I say that, don't think I mean lacking in plot, originality or lacking in any way. I mean simple as in straightforward, honest, and just very real.

Anna is trying to get over the death of her boyfriend, a simple but very brutal circumstance that this author handled with sensitivity and honesty. Camp was a wonderful foil to her, a complementing companion, and it was so easy to see how these two would be drawn to each other. There weren't any huge events in this story, as it was very character driven. Sometimes, however, these make the best stories, if handled by the right author, and Katie Aleo did a phenomenal job pulling me in, making me care, and making me read to the final page.

This book was very cheaply priced, but it is proof that you can definitely find some gems out there, at any price or publisher. I hope to see more from Katie Aleo. Great book.

    Is that cheating?:)

After Adam by Katie Aelo is an amazing book. The story was filled with lots if twists and its hard to stop reading, this was one of my favorite teen love story books. If your looking fir a good book you should read this, my only complaint was that it all ended so fast I wished the book was longer and showed then as a couple more. She should make another book to continue this. I love this book so read it!!:)

I would give this book ten stars (even though I'm not a teen, I'm a grandma) for the unusual story, for the characters, and all the emotions I went through while reading it. Thank you, Ms. Aleo. Keep it up.

Loved this book!!! It was so cute! I mean, it seems really wrong

Loved this book!!! It was so cute! I mean, it seems really wrong, but in the end, you can tell it's just right. Like it was meant to be! Cutest. Short story. EVER!! Please Katie Aleo, come out with a sequel!! Love it love it love it!! I read it in less than two nights. It's a great teen love story for teens. (This is coming from a teen who is 15.) But honestly I loved this book. I wish I can find someone just like Camp. (: <3

Book was good but grammar wa horrible

I liked the storyline. I just wish we could have found out exavtly how adam died. And my only issue is that there are too many gramatical mistakes and misspellings. Ever heard of proofreading?

    Wish it was longer

This was a cute book, but just an ok cute. You don't know what happened to Adam so that makes it frusrating because it could of been longer.
