    A good read

I didn't think I would find John Edward as credible as I did in this interesting book. He presents intriguing ideas in a straighforward manner. This book can be read enjoyably by someone who has a healthy skeptical streak as weil as by those whose beliefs are consistenet with the material Edward presents.

    Great read!

If you love reading about this topic, you will like this book. I "ooohed" and "ahhhed" a few times, I even laughed a few times. I love the personal touches and I look forward to reading more from John Edward. It's not just a book for those who watch his show, I have caught maybe a few minutes of a few episodes, so I don't have the background of knowing all about John or who he is, but was still captivated by the stories he shares here.

Eye-opening about the Other Side AND about the author!

I really feel more comfort about the end really being the beginning of the next 'chapter' of my soul after reading this book. I'm the type of person who can never discuss my parents' wills with them until it's absolutely necessary my husband had to put them high up on a shelf in a closet because I don't even like to begin to think about their passing away. I would be in a deep, dark, downward spiral for days if I thought about the 'd' word for too long. This book, which combines John Edward's philosophies, beliefs, and a little bit of his background and history with transcripts of readings, helped me to see the possibility that the ones I love who have passed away haven't really left me at all. It's more comforting to me and a little peaceful, with a LOT of hope.

    Highly Recommended - very interesting

John Edward writes as he speaks. He explains what he sees in his head
& also that he's not sure how it works, but I am more confident in my
mind that someday we will be there also.

    Saved the best for last.

Personally, I do recommend this book; I just wish he would have written the entire book from the same place he wrote the last chapter - from his heart.

As a full time psychic medium, and author of "Communications from the Other Side: Death Is Not the End of Life, Love or Relationships," I could relate to much of what Edward writes, but I really connected with the stories and lessons in the last chapter.

My father and I had a very similar relationship, which is, I'm sure, why I was so affected by what he wrote about it. I do recommend this book for the overall message contained within it.

    Blessings,
    Anthony Quinata

    Nope...not enough meat or potatoes

I like John Edward, and watch his TV show, which is fascinating. I liked his second book - crossing over. But this book just goes on and on with the same, and no new information. I just read a book by Tiffany Snow that gives exercises on how to see ghosts, stories about helping with unfinished business, and also stuff on the 'bump in the night' kinds of ghosts. I liked hers better. John never talks about the other kinds of invisible forces there are out there - and I needed to know that too. Not all ghosts are dead people trying to say they love us. Maybe its the folks NOT on TV that are the cutting edge, I don't know. But, what I do know is that I'm going to a book store next time and thumbing through his next book before I buy it. If it's more of the same, I'm writing him off.
