Meet the Author

After losing both parents, I floated around for a few years until I was old enough to be on my own. I survived another 5 years traveling between cities, finding all the spots to get free food and sleep in a free bed, until I ended up in Las Vegas. In a city that never shuts down, there is no shortage of places to spend days and nights, and tourists are easy targets for making some good money. Night provided the perfect opportunity to improve my lifestyle, and when the sun roasted the desert, I hid out and banged away on a story that had haunted me for years. What started as a series of stories with nothing in common fell together with one common element...death. Once that piece of the puzzle hit me, the rest of it poured out onto the pages. A few rewrites later, and the After Life story begins. I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think...

The author did a great job telling the story. I purchased the book because, I thought it was a love story. After the first few chapters, I quickly realized that it was more of a ghost story than a love story. I thoroughly enjoyed the story telling!

Really enjoyed reading this book! My dad passed away 20 months ago and i had been having some difficulty w/ his passing and dealing w/ his absence. This book has helped me to realize that he might be closer than I thought. No one really knows what happens after death but the author has opened a new window into the unknown. At least for me, I won't be taking happenings to be just coincidences.

It was an amazing story, the author uses lots of discriptive adjectives. Soo looking forth to getting the second, and hopefully there will be a third.

Thought provoking. Good story teller. Good writer. Disappointed the follow on book has not been published yet. Any news on that?

have you ever wondered how life would be after death? is it possible to still love someone from the beyond? This novel tries to answers the questions we always wanted to know...what's after this life? A good read well worth it at the end because not only you finish an amazing book, but in my opinion you learn a little about yourself and how you can look foward to the day we die...

WOW! I didn't think this book would amount to much, but it was spectacular! Love wins over the evils of hate, even in the after life!

From the title, one might expect a tale of love, loss, letting go and moving on, from both sides of the glass. Many of us dealing with the loss of a loved one might read this looking for a sense of hope, faith and inspiration. Instead we get a story of good vs evil that at times seems like a b-movie horror flick. The potential was there, if only the author would have let the story that wanted to be told stay in the foreground. In this case, less could have been so much more.

I respect where Lee is coming from. The concept behind the story is good but it's just not executed as well as the author intended.

Unusual story. Imaginative depiction of "life" after death. Gruesome scenes of evil disturbing to me. Love story poignant. Many loose ends left at end of book, obviously needing sequels to resolve. Not sure I will read them.

Incredible story with deep and philosophical explanations. The love conquers evil theme is played out in a unique and special way.

Kind of slow in the beginning but once you push through that it became a great read.

Very few errors, and a wonderful story. Would love to see how jacksons mentor factors into the story. Looking forward to more.

When I started this book, I thought it would be another 'Ghost' story. I was glad I was wrong. It kept me interested and was hard to put down. I rarely write reviews, but this one kept me thinking about it after I was finished reading. I really hope the sequel comes out soon. He has some other books also, and they also look very interesting. There is a trilogy (the 3rd book is due out in Dec) and I hope now that he has finished that, he will get the next book out about Jackson. This is a GREAT read, and I would have paid for it. I am going to also get the trilogy.
