Meet the Author

I began writing this series in 2009 because I wanted to explore how environmental collapse can help create a corrupt society. And while most of my books explore collapsed societies and are classified as speculative fiction, science fiction and dystopian fiction, I take more than a bird's eye view of societal madness. Instead of keeping a distance, my stories take an intimate look at the relationships between individuals living in these societies. How does the individual and family respond to environmental collapse, economic collapse, oppression and other nastiness created by unbelievably rotten cultures? Come with me to find out...

After the Darkness: Episode Two by SunHi Mistwalker is still pro

After the Darkness: Episode Two by SunHi Mistwalker is still promising to be a good serial.

Nadia is sold to one of her father’s rivals, but manages to escape after being betrayed by a roommate at the hostel she is forced to live in.  She has a mission: find Percy, one of the men that captured her.

After the Darkness: Episode Two continues slowly, but I am still looking forward to the other installments.  It is too soon to make a recommendation.

Nadia Comani is searching for a way out to find her sister Mila. She holds a valuable black token she received from Percy. She only thinks of escaping and being free. Percy is occuring more debt every time he gambles. He's trying to meet his wife's demands for a better life. Can Nadia escape? Can Percy give his family a better life? Your answers await you in After the Darkness:Episode Two.

This is very interesting futuristic series. It's interesting to see how the future would look like and how people would react to different situations. I find futuristic books to be interesting and showcasing humanity at it's worst and best. I look forward to reading more of this author's work.

    Continuing Series

This is the continuing story of Nadia and her struggle to be reunited with her sister. The story picks up where the first one ended. Nadia is hatching her plan to escape her current situation. This one gives a little back story about the men that captured her to fill out more of the story. It is short, like the last one, gives you just enough details with a cliffhanger ending so you want to come back for more. It’s hard to say much more without spoiling it. I’ll just say that I enjoyed it and will be continuing on to the third novella in the series.
