This is book two in the Seductive Nights Series. If I could have given this series more than 5-stars I would have. I get so lost in the world of Julia and Clay. The chemistry between them is OFF. THE. CHARTS. Words are their foreplay. Sex is intense. As with any relationship, mistakes are made and forgiveness is difficult to give. When you add in the fact that Julia's been played the fool before, you have to question Clay's motives for the lie. He HATES lies...remember? What was he thinking?
I absolutely love this series (if you haven't been able to tell by now) and I will re-read it many times over. I can't wait for the next book, One More Night. Thank you Lauren Blakely for extending this series by one more book and allowing us to live in Julia and Clay's world for just a little while longer.

These books were too short to be a 3 book set. Too pricy in my opinion. The other books that were related to this one were each one book. I really like this author but I feel like I was cheated on this set

Looking for a dirty talking alpha male hero? Look no further because Clay Nichols is your man. He’s the type of guy that gives as good as he gets.
While NIGHT AFTER NIGHT is the first full length novel in the Seductive Nights series, there is also a freebie prequel that gives a taste of what you can expect. Because of its short length, it doesn’t give too much in terms of plot but it gives a quick introduction to the characters.
The first thing I noticed about this book is that Clay and Julia are no strangers to letting the other person know what they want. They are sexual beings and a lot of the sexiness in this book stems from the fact that they see sex as liberation. It’s freeing and untainted and they revel in it.
As you can expect, there’s a case of instalove – or maybe it’s just instalust – but Blakely doesn’t waste any time with the sexual tension. As Clay and Julia fall deeper in love, I felt that there was a great emphasis on their romance. There are not a lot of external factors or unnecessary drama. While that is all great, I did get a little bored towards the middle when nothing seemed to be developing.
Blakely does place an emphasis on conversation between Clay and Julia and that I have to respect. I have when a conflict arises and all it is is miscommunication between characters. That doesn’t happen here.
I still haven’t decided if I will be continuing the series or not. Perhaps if I’m in the mood for some more dirty talk, I’ll return for more.

The conclusion of Julia and Clay's story is everything I could have hoped for. There's a wedding, a reunion, some drama, gambling, admissions of love, a fist fight, scorching sex, a surprise departure, a semi-shocking cross country reconcilliation and some awesome cocktails. There really was a little bit of everything in this story and it was quite fulfilling. The complex plot was written in such a manner that it took you on the journey with the characters as if you were there as well. The story kept it's pace and intensity through all 3 releases. I had a vested interest in nearly every character. It was the perfect ending for one of the best couples I have read in a very long time. I highly recommend this this series.

I absolutely loved the great hot sex between Julia and Clay. The chemistry between them was off the charts hot right from the moment they meet. I hate to say this but the storyline is kinda boring but I still really enjoyed it. There is a suspence to it that kept me reading. I do recommend this book. Was this review helpful? Julia is still trying to get over the fact that Clay left her standing there outside her apartment because she lied to him. He didn't understand that she lied to protect him. Now she is trying to get on with her life without Clay.
Julia's sister, McKenna, is getting ready for her wedding in a few weeks, but all Julia can think about is Clay.
She still has Charlie breathing down her neck, wanting his money that Julia's ex Dillon stole from him, so she is still working at scamming people from their money at poker games at Charlie's restaurant.
As Julia is missing Clay, she decides to email him. They start emailing each other back and forth with cute, funny emails. I loved the humor. Then it turns to phone calls, which start getting sexier.
Finally McKenna's wedding day comes and Clay and Julia reunite. She finally opens up to Clay and tells him what her ex did to her. Together they come up with a way for her to finally pay off Charlie on her own terms. I loved how their happy ending played out. It was sweet and sexy at the same time.

I loved this series. I have to admit that i am a big lauren fan. This book nakes me want more. The characters are very well developed and the stories wrap you in them fast. Even though the stories are short, you dont feel like it was short. By the end you will be wanting more and maybe even a cold shower.
Julia finally tells clay her secert. After the shock and augh, he freaks and wants to help her, but she refuses the help. She wants the independance of knowing she did it by herself. Some change of events happen and she is left wondering if all the trust she had in clay was over shadowed by lies and love. She has some serious decisions to make. Kristy dean

## Just Ok for me. This is the conclusion of Julia's and Clay's story. I loved the first book, however was slightly disappointed in this one. First of all, Julia is down to only owing $10,000 which is a drop in the bucket for her sister or even for the hero Clay (he's a rich entertainment laywer). So instead of going to them she chances losing the love of her life. Also, the final conflict was weak, really weak. And parts of this installment just dragged on and on. Finally, I hated the hero's relationship with his friend Michele. He's kissed her, he likes the way she smells, she's constantly touching him, they go to shows and out for drinks every Thursday. She is madly in love with the hero (keep in mind she is NOT the heroine). NO WAY would a woman agree to let her hot lawyer boyfriend keep seeing this gorgeous woman even when he says he doesn't feel that way about her. Not bloody likely. And yes I said "let". Anyway, I may read these 2 books again because I love how the author let this couple have so much fun together, but I will likely be skimming some parts. Was this review helpful? Julia and Clay are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. No matter how hard they try they just cannot resist one another. I fell in love with Julia's tenacity and spunk. She is the definition of what a firery red head should be. She is stubborn and sexy as sin and Clay has fallen fast and hard forJulia especially when she shows him her vulnerable side.
"Every woman should be jealous of you because of how I feel for you. Because no man has ever wanted a woman like I want you. No man has ever craved a woman as deeply as I crave you. And no man has ever fallen this hard and fast for a woman."
Clay is all alpha male and when he finally lets his guard down, and professes his love for Julia my heart just swooned. Julia knows that there is no one else for her and that Clay is the only man she will ever love. He is her Allness. He is everything. The only problem is that Clay has a secret and when Julia finds out will she run or can she find it in her heart to forgive him?
Lauren does an excellent job bringing together two very broken people and giving them a second chance at love. The kind of love that consumes you day after day and night after night. She shows us the true value of trusting another person with everything you have and everything you are.
Clay Nichols will melt your heart and your panties all at once. If you like your romance hot and steamy with a lot of dirty talking and sass you will love After This Night.

Is it possible, you might ask, to love Clay Nichols more than we already did after seeing him in all of his glorious hotness in 'First Night' and 'Night After Night'? Oh my goodness, yes, yes, and YES again! Not only is it possible, but I challenge anyone to resist this man now.
When Clay left Julia Bell in San Francisco after she refused to open up to him about certain things going on in her life, he was determined to leave her behind for good. Having been burned in the past, Clay has zero tolerance for anything less than full disclosure. He heads back to New York, ready to resume his life without Julia. But love has a funny way of changing things, and neither Julia nor Clay is able to go back to 'LBL' (life before love), so Julia finally decides to risk everything and let Clay in. Is it all beautiful sunsets and happy times for them after this, though? No, because, what fun would that be? There are, of course, a few obstacles to overcome, but that's what makes happy times that much more so, and the making up that much hotter. As an added bonus, we get to see Blakely characters that we know and love from other books, which made this story that much more enjoyable.
Lauren Blakely consistently writes characters and stories that draw you in and make you a part of the world she has created. She is definitely one of my go-to authors, and has really outdone herself with 'After This Night.' I cannot recommend this book, along with the rest of the 'Seductive Nights' series more. Grab this one now; you won't be sorry.
