Overview

Welcome to the third short work of the Aftermath Zombie Series. This series is a short work series of eBooks set a few months after the collapse of society due to a zombie apocalypse. The intrinsic nature of the events that brought on the apocalypse leave the survivors in doubt and still attempting to understand the nature of the zombies they are fighting to survive. The series is set to cover five short works which become incrementally longer as the series continues. A final book will compile the shorter works. There may also be an additional short work covering the scientific research behind the zombie virus that has left the human species teetering on the brink of extinction.
This series details the journey of an unknown woman who is later named Ghost by an individual she encounters along her travels. While facing cultural challenges and learning how to survive more comfortably, she has time to reconsider her surroundings and process what has happened to the world and her place in her new surroundings.
In Aftermath: Survivor Ghost’s companion unleashes his cruel calculated brutality on other survivors and demands that Ghost participate. Ghost is shaken by how well she’s learned to kill. When she finds out the purpose for the killing is twofold she can’t handle the depravity to which humanity has fallen. The calm exterior of the man she travels with contains secrets she may never know. She contemplates how many he may have subjected to psychological torture before ending their lives. Now she is skilled in his art and she is unsure as to whether she wants to know what is trapped behind his teeth.

Meet the Author

Richard Schwarz has dabbled in various genres and enjoyed creating fictional commentary on various real world events. From the Apocalypse to Zombies and everything in between, there's nothing that one shouldn't expect from this author. Creative story telling has been a hobby of Richard Schwarz since an early age when he was inspired by a grade school teacher to use his gift of embellishment in his writing assignments. He has always had a desire to share his work and with the boom of electronic publishing, Richard Schwarz decided to pursue a dream and begin writing.

As a responsible father and husband balancing a job and a new found career in writing, he never forgets the most important thing to him which is his family. Pursuing his dreams isn't easy but he puts every spare moment of effort into his books that he can. When everyone is asleep, Richard Schwarz can be found at his computer, his face glowing in the screen light, typing away so that he can tell his tales and let others enjoy his imaginings.
