Overview

Last year was one of the worst of Abby Lucas’s life, but though it all, she had her best friend Wyatt by her side. Unfortunately, Wyatt just left to start his freshman year at the University of Michigan, leaving Abby to face her past and her senior year of high school alone. Just as she starts to think that this year might actually be worse than last year, she meets Connor Richmond, a gorgeous transfer student who intrigues her at first glance. Abby and Connor have an instant connection. He’s sweet, funny and adores Abby, but Connor is also dating the girl who single-handedly tried to ruin Abby’s life. As Abby and Connor grow closer, reminders of her past start to pop up when she least expects them. She soon realizes that the only way out is to put some distance between herself and Connor, but it turns out it’s not as easy as it should be to let him go. If only Connor knew the truth about the girl he was dating and how much better off he’d be with someone like Abby.

Monica Alexander is a writer of contemporary, new adult, and young adult fiction. After getting two degrees and spending her adult life in the business would, she never thought she'd turn her lifelong love books into something more ... until 2011 when she published her first novel, which was pretty much the most exciting and terrifying thing she's ever done. Now being a part-time writer has become ingrained in her life, and she wouldn't change it for anything. When she's not writing, Monica can be found reading excessively, buying cute outfits online, downloading new music, and learning to play guitar ... which might be one if the hardest things she's ever tried. She also spends a lot of time at the baseball field cheering on her husband's little league team, and during football season she can be found in front of the TV yelling at the Florida Gators. “For a moment a band of thieves in ripped up jeans got to rule the world.” – Taylor Swift You can learn more about Monica Alexander at: Twitter: @MonMichelle6 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MonicaAlexanderAuthor Pintrest: http://www.pinterest.com/MonMichelle6/mentioned-in-my-books/

I loved this book so much. I don't normally like YA books, too PG. I perfer R rated books but this was amazingly sweet and romantic even without the sex and sensuality. The chemistry between Abby and Conner is off the charts. But I have to say I loved Jack too. Abby definitely has some great friends. But she so sweet, kind, and beautiful whats not to love. I highly recommend this book to everyone. And incase any mothers want to know, this story is appropriate for younger girls however there are some curse words including the F bomb a couple of times and the insinuation of sex including an unplaned pregnancy.. Oh and it's about 286 pages long.
