This was a new author for me and I had a hard time getting to this book for one simple reason: Ben attacked Heather and she almost died. My problem was the fact not a single person did a thing to him, it was like it can’t be helped. I’m not in favor of this and they are shifters but that’s not an excuse for slapping a person. Ben is actually a good guy, but I condone what he did and just because she was his mate everybody treated like it was no big deal. They are great together, but I just can’t pass the fact he hurt her real bad on the first time she said no to him. So I don’t think this series is okay to continue for me. The author I’ll give a second chance.

Choppy writing, story didn't flow, felt sort of immature, poor subject matter, too expensive
