Meet the Author

India knew from age nine that writing would be her passion. Since then she's discovered many more, but none quite so fulfilling as creating a world, a character, or a moment and watching them evolve into something complex and compelling. She has lived in three countries and four American states, is a dual British and American citizen, and currently lives at the base of the Scottish Highlands in a village so small its main attraction is a red phone box. In other words: paradise.

I gave the first five books 5 stars, this is the only one that gets four stars from me just because it didn't have as much depth or action as the other books. There was still quite a bit going on, with the visits to the sea Fae and the questions around a mysterious gate in America Munro finds when searching for Huck and Demi. Ewain also makes some appearances in this story, doing Father of the Sky things which I will let you read about for yourself.  I found it rather interesting how the past, present and even future overlapped and even collided in so many ways in this story. I will leave it to you to discover exactly how these different times and events were woven together by The author, but it was a good ending to a terrific series that I really enjoyed. I hardly ever finish a whole series if I have to buy all the books these days due to my low income, so the fact that I liked this series enough to buy and read it the entire way through is saying something!

This series was very good. The author really wrapped everything up well. I definitely would be interested in maiya and jago's story as another series and fae adventures.

The final installment in the series... an excellent tale, but I'm secretly hoping for more. I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to the otherworld, or these wonderful characters.

So sad this is the last book, but it had a satisfying ending that didn't leave annoying loose ends. I've grown to love so many of these characters and I'm going to miss them. Here's hoping that perhaps they will make a movie based on these books so I can enjoy these characters a little longer.
