Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

It all began with the appearance of a tiny spider. But that innocent-looking arachnid turned out to be Anansi, the wily trickster god of West African legend. And thus begins James Lovegrove's trio of novellas about visiting deities that entertain us even as they are challenging our wits. Now in mass-market paperback.

    Very disappointing

I'm only giving this book a star because I'm required to. All three stories are painfully predictable. The very last story, "Age of Gaia" feels more like an ode to "fifty shades of grey" (uninteresting in my view). Frankly out of all his books as of now, I'd only recommend "Age of Odin", and "Age of Zeus".
