Meet the Author

Aside from the books Dan Jolley has done for Lerner, he has also published a series of original YA novels called Alex Unlimited, as well as teen and junior novelizations for the movies Iron Man and Transformers 2. Dan has published hundreds of comic books from Marvel, DC, and most of the other major publishers in the country.

Matt Wendt grew up in the frozen tundra of Alaska, where long winters being trapped indoors inspired him to take up drawing. Mostly self-taught, he continued to grow as an artist over the years and eventually found his calling in comics. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and fellow artist, Becky Grutzik. The two self-publish projects under Planet Doom Studios. They also teach an after-school drawing class to young aspiring artists.
