This work considers "agents of immortality," or what moves us to see the immortal dimension of our existence. Ways in which immortality can be envisioned are explored, such as looking at the immortal aspect of bodies, spiritual experiences, including that of a spiritual double, and views which unite body and spirit, such as a resurrected body. This journey seeks to avoid both a "denial of death" and a "denial of immortality." Let us see how the door to the latter can be opened.
