    This book, Air Raid- Pearl Harbor is a heartwarming, eye-opening, fantastic book. It is a true story that tells about what happened in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. When I began reading, I was a little confused about what was going on with all the advanced vocabulary and limited description of the characters. This book lost me completely until the attack began. It may explain a few important things, but was too technical for my taste. One thing this author did very well was describing the setting. The beginning of this book isn¿t exactly the best, but the remaining parts are very strong. The climax of this book is very overwhelming. In my opinion, this book gives an excellent description of the attack on America. I had no idea about all the new and different types of technology that were used in this battle. Thankfully, the author described these tools of war very well. The entire attack happened so fast that words couldn¿t explain it. The book includes many pictures to help paint the scene of the horrifying event. The most important part of this book also talks about the many deaths and heart wrenching stories that occurred on that fateful Sunday morning. In the conclusion of this book, the author writes about the many heroes and untimely deaths of unsuspecting soldiers resulting from this sneaky Japanese attack on America. I couldn¿t bear to stay dry-eyed through the stories of the famous Americans who saved many lives. There were so many sunken ships full of the innocent soldiers that risked their lives for this country. The attack did not last very long, thanks to the Japanese refusing to return to Pearl Harbor. Overall, this nonfiction book was full of suspense and sadness. It made me glad to live in a country full of people willing to sacrifice so much for our nation. The strength¿s of this book are the description of the actual attack and the ending. The weakness of this book is the beginning when their isn¿t much description. I have been to Pearl Harbor and seen the remnants of December 7, 1941. This book is as good as being there yourself and I recommend it to anyone that likes to learn about our country¿s history.

    I love this book! I really enjoyed reading it. I like the fact that it gives you fcats and good information before the bombing. RIP to all the U.S. troops that died and to the ships that went down. i recomend this book to anyone who is intrested in wwii or american history.
