Overview

I am the South Tower. This is my story.

You must use extraordinary measures to tell an extraordinary story. This book might be a novel and it might not be a novel. The characters might be real and they might be fictions. Many of the events described happened or they did not. Rules will be broken. Our narrator is not a person. It is a building; the South Tower of the World Trade Center, whose height and thousands of windows provide the first truly-panoramic view of 9/11. Sometimes the only way to learn the truth is through fiction.

"Toth is a unique, gifted stylist whose prose is at times sharp, unpredictable, humorous, and always engaging. There have been a lot of books about 9/11 but I promise you none like this."-Midwest Book Review

"Airplane Novel is less fictionalized history and more an examination of what it is to be human, for whatever that may be worth. It is complex through simplicity. Varied through repetition. It is a novel that may or may not be a novel. It is not a good story. It is an amazing story, and through it our narrator is both victor and victim."-The Dream People

    BUY THIS BOOK!!!!

You may have read some of Paul A. Toth's work before, as he is an established writer. I know him best from the work he has done in his blog, "Violent Contradiction," where he is both erudite and profane. He has also appeared in "Nervous Breakdown," where I have found him to be 'snort coffee through your nose' hilarious. This, however is his best work yet. Money well spent! Kudos to such a, well, 'novel' approach to an "Airplane Novel."
I am making my own mother buy this, so you may as well, also.
