Duncan Long's AK47: The Complete Kalashnikov Family of Assault Rifles

This book is written very well. I know a lot about the AK47 assault rifle and all the information in this book is very accurate. Duncan Long uses the phrase "...at the time of this writing..." many times so that it makes sense if any info in the book is changed after it was published. It was published in 1988, so many of the information about certain countries shipping export civilian semi-auto only AK47s to the United States has changed. But other than that all the info about the AK47 rifle itself is very true. The book includes the history and workings of the rifle, varients, sniper versions, accessories, calibers, and more. Duncan Long has written many books on firearms and all contain correct information that in some cases is hard to find from other sources. I reccomend this book to anyone interested in the history and facts of one of the most iconic military and civilian rifles in the world. Also to anyone interested in purchasing an AK47 rifle, or to any firearms enthusiast. This really is a great and interesting read. And just know that Duncan Long will not let you down on any firearms information he supplies.
