    Fascinating!

This is the most comprehensive book on the 'Alamo' I have read to date. The graphics and photographs are exquisite, the research extensive. Bravo to the author for going beyond where other 'Alamo' historians have left off.

    the alamo

The title of my book is the alamo. It is historical fiction. the setting took place in Texas next to the mexican border. All together i loved this book it was very thrillfull and the vocabulary in it was excellent there were words in here inever heard before.I would defantley reccomend this book to many thriilseekers or history geeks like myself. The plot in this book was very intense. It kepy me on my toes the whole time. Everything about this book was great. The only thing i thought was alittle wrong wit it was sometimes it skipped around, also sometimes it was dull. But overall it was a great book and i enjoyed reading it.

    Very good.

I liked the part where Davy was fussing with Jim's guns and making sure that they both had enough powder in them for the battle.

Looks like it will be an AMAZING film

I simply couldn't wait for the movie any longer, so I decided to read the novelization. Of course, not everything is in the movie, but it gives you a real sense of what the movie will be like. I couldn't be more pleased. At the risk of spoiling it, I can only say that if the movie is as good as the book, then I don't see why it wouldn't get Best Picture of 2004.
