Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Beverly Kobrin
Once upon a time, there were three bears, a big white, a medium-sized brown, and a small black: Alaska's Three Bears. Shelley Gill imaginatively balances a tall tale about the three with bear facts to tell how polar, grizzly, and black bears settled in the 49th-state and how they differ from one another. Enclosed within the decorative borders of artist Shannon Cartwright's watercolors are facts about the bears' habits, diet and other distinctive peculiarities.

The True Story of the Three Bears!!!

I bought this book while visiting Alaska. My children loved it. It is a great story about the three bears. It is entertaining and very educational. It teaches your children why and how we choose to live where we live and how to find what is right for you to have a happy and productive life. You learn the difference between the three different kinds of they eat, live and survive. It's one I don't mind reading a 100 times because I learn something too.
