Albano-Waite Tarot Deckby A. E. Waite, Frankie Albano, U S. Games Systems Inc
The result was the unique Rider-Waite tarot deck which has endured as the world's most popular 78-card tarot
In 1909, Arthur Edward Waite encouraged Pamela Colman Smith to produce a tarot deck with appeal to the world of art that would have significance behind the symbols and thus make the deck more important than tarot packs previously used for centuries.
The result was the unique Rider-Waite tarot deck which has endured as the world's most popular 78-card tarot deck.
The innovative cards, including the 56 Minor Arcana, depict full scenes with figures and symbols. This feature, combined with Pamela Colman Smith's ability to capture the subtleties of emotion and experience, has made the Rider-Waite Tarot the basis for the designs of many century decks.
Reprint of the 78-card tarot deck published in 1968 and based on Pamela Colman Smith's designs.

Hi There: A friend of mine gave me a copy of this Tarot-Card deck many years ago and unfortunatly I let someone borrow oine of the cards to do a reprint for a pendant and the person lost it. I was so despondent as I really loved this partuicular deck for the beauty of the colors jumoping out so vibrantly. Each deck speaks to a reader or querent for whatever reasons and this is one reason I decided to purchase this deck. I loved working witgh it and will conrinue dioing so unless a querent asks me to utilize another deck as some would rather choose a pictorial that for whatever reasons speaks to them...maybe on some esoterical level. Thank-you!
