'Improve your knowledge of the sexes by opening a new chapter to science. Emotional rollercoasters are explained in this book. Behaviors and attractions and the differences in our sexes are shown on a wider scale than we are use to. Stop asking your friends for advice and study what's really going on inside of you and your mate.'

A very insightful book. Remember, without hormones, you and your spouse are just room mates! You may find, as I did, that some of the case studies are too close for comfort. One of the best points is that Crenshaw will offer admitted speculation AND will tell you when science doesn't yet have the answers or the understanding - how refreshing! The book is a bit short on aphrodisiacs and such - most of her prescriptions require a prescription - good luck in finding a doctor in your HMO who knows half of what you'll know from reading this book.
