Features: The text is somewhat underillustrated with limited tables or charts. The references are extensive, relevant, and up-to-date.
Assessment: This is a good book that brings together a significant amount of information in the area of alcohol related injuries and prevention strategies. It is not complete and does not cover all related areas regarding this topic. The information in the chapters overlaps to some degree. In addition, only a small chapter was actually devoted to cocaine. Yet, the information is important and extremely relevant. It is a contribution to the literature in that it will serve as an important reference in this area.
