This was the first James Patterson book I have read and I was not disappointed. I have a new favorite author now. This book was very well written and had enough twist and turns to keep it very interesting and also easy to follow. I would recommend this book to anyone who like crime drama with a slight mystery to it. In my opinion you do not have to read this series in order but I will continue to read the remainder of the Alex Cross series along with other JP books.
