Meet the Author

Is both a photographer and a visual artist, he has worked mainly on photography and video, focusing on contrasts between the natural and the artificial. His work offers an analytical view on representation and abstraction processes involving reality, mainly those relating to nature within a cultural context.His work has been exhibited in Mexico, the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Spain, the U.K., Singapore, China, Korea, and Chile.Dorfsman co-edited the book La Panaderia 1994-2002, and has organised a number of exhibitions in this venue.In 2006 he launched his first photography book, It's almost real, isn't it?, from the Espia collection, published by Editorial Diamantina, Mexico City.
