The pictures are large, full-length watercolor sketches (poster-sized) of scenes in the book. The best part is that they are alternated by copies of the same sketches, but without the color. So, children are able to color their own pictures, as well, using the posters as guidelines. The complete story is included in this book, so you're purchasing the story, coloring pages, and beautiful watercolor poster that can be hung in a child's room. Truly a beautiful book.

My daughter decorated her nursery in an Alice in Wonderland theme, featuring some of these John Tenniel prints put in inexpensive frames. The vividly colored illustrations create a fanciful, old-fashioned feel, perfect for a little girl with a big imagination. While the book is a little too big to put on the shelf, the larger than life pages provide the opportunity for little ones to "color match" the poster prints in their own home-made posters, building self-esteem and ensuring an afternoon of fun. My grand-daughter loved the book. I highly recommended it for girls from toddler through grade six with an interest in the classics.

A wonderful intro to Alice in Wonderland for the kids. Big enough for you to color with your child, which I enjoy very much.

My granddaughter really enjoyed this! Except for some of the pictures not going with the story on the page, she loved it! It has been lots of fun coloring with her, and the quality of the book was excellent!

Large images from the best known illustrator for the Alice series ready to frame. Plus duplicates to color. What a wonderful way to decorate the walls of a library or child's room.

There are colored images that you can use a guide, as you color. Lastly, each picture has some of the text, from the Alice in Wonderland book. It is a very nice book for older children, as well as adults, who still love to color.
This is a fun book with the lovely original drawings of Alice in an awesome mini-poster size, perfect for framing. The color ones are great to go on the wall, and the black and white perfect to give to the little ones to color in (or adults, heh).
Each poster has a (large) page of dialogue from the scene in the book that the image refers to directly on the opposite page.
This is also great for those reading Lewis Carroll and who want to share the experience with others.
