More About This Book

Overview

John and Melissa Winters think that learning their baby's sex will be the happiest day of their lives. They are wrong. Instead, they spend it running from an alien race hell-bent on claiming Earth for itself.

With thousands of satellite-like weapons strategically positioned around the planet, the aliens obliterate the world's communication systems, militaries, and transportation systems within minutes. There the satellites remain, monitoring Earth for any signs of human technology that could be used against them.

Earth is plundered for its resources, and man is hunted by a species far more advanced, technologically, with speed and reflexes five times faster than any human and deadly tentacles that extend from their forearms at will. Lacking the means to fight back, man has but one optionĀ¾run!

John and Melissa journey to their mountain home, where they live out each day, hoping to see the next. Their plans are tested when an injured alien finds its way into their home and beats Melissa's pregnant body within inches of death.

The human population is dwindling and in time will become extinct, but there are some who refuse to let that happen. Some fight back against an opponent most feel they cannot beat in a battle they cannot win. But these freedom-fighters have one thing the others do not-they have Hope.

Alien Earth Hope Cometh should be a Movie!!!

After reading numbers of Sci-Fi books most of my life how refreshing to find one that not only had action, action, action but also a smooth, flowing story line. This book is not only discerning but worthy of being cast as a Movie. It is a kickin' book that has an author with an extremely vivid and deep imagination. The characters became so real that I felt I knew them. Even the aliens. I will be looking to see if it makes it to The NY Times Best Seller List. I can't wait for the sequel.

    Alien Earth...Convincing and Action Packed!

I'm not usually fasincated by SciFi books but this one got my attention. It was great! The story line kept me on the edge of my seat. It was all so convincing...I felt like I was actually there experiencing everything the characters experienced. I really enjoyed it and did not want to put it down for fear that I would miss something. Great job!

    I Love Hope!!!

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the way the story flowed, I found myself emotionally attached to the characters, and while some aspects were your typical science fiction, it was nice having a few new twists with some refreshing characters. It was War of the Worlds meets Battle Field Earth meets Independence Day. Only in this story, a woman stands in the way of the aliens and WOW is she a force to be reckoned with. I simply fell in love with the main character, Hope. ...And unless I'm completely mistaken, that's Hope as a child on the cover of the book. She's grown up throughout the majority of the book.

    Difficult

I wanted to like the story and it did have potential, but that is where the positive remarks end. The writing was lacking, the charactors could have been better developed, numerous parts were cheesy, and the over all plot fell short. It was almost painful to finish this book. The fact that folks thought this was a great read and should be made into a movie means they haven't read a good book. Your time would be better spent watching Independence Day on DVD.
