"Animorphs: The Alien" is an exceptional book for someone, such as me, who likes a good book. The writing is big and bold, so you know that it has short chapters. Aximili- A.K.A. Ax- is an alien. He is standing in a dome filled with grass, when the dome is attacked by the Yeerks, The Andalites' rivals. Several shots from the Yeerks send the dome crashing down to Earth. Some human friends of Aximili's pull him out of the wreckage. Ax's human friends are Cassie, Marco, Rachel, Prince Jake, and Tobias. Ax's race has the ability to morph. When they met up with the humans and brought them aboard the ship, they gave THEM the ability to morph, too. The Yeerks are tiny, worm-like creatures. They started to invade earth. Since Aximili is on Earth, he must learn about the human culture. In the process of doing that, he has to morph into a human. But while he is learning the human culture, he also finds out that The Yeerks are planning to take over Earth. Now his mission has gone from learning about humans, to destroying the Yeerks for good. If you like a good book series that has action, comedy, and zero percent romance, this is the best book that you can read. I think that the author did an exceptional job writing this book. You must read this fantastic series of books.

All the animorph books are great. I particularly loved this one because it is an Ax book and also because it shows how the other ANIMORPHS gained Ax's trust. I loved it!
