Overview

After the wildest wedding ever, Katherine "Kitty" Katt-Martini and her Alpha Centaurion husband Jeff are hoping life will settle down. But alien attacks are on the increase, and someone is testing a  dangerous new drug on unwilling subjects within their group. As if that's not enough,  they discover that their newborn's talents are off the charts—and the bad guys want their baby.

The last thing anyone in Centaurion Division needs after that is a conspiracy to kill the heads of the C.I.A.'s Extra-Terrestrial Division and the Presidential Terrorism Control Unit, otherwise known as Charles Reynolds and Kitty's mother, Angela Katt. Then, suddenly, key members of Alpha and Airborne start vanishing. Can Kitty, her remaining team members, friends old and new, and a totally unexpected new partner rescue everyone and figure out why Kitty's become a superhuman? Most importantly, can they pull it all off before the event Kitty dreads most—her Alpha Centaurion baby shower?

Alien Proliferation is the fourth installment of the thrilling Alien novels.

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Koch’s fourth Katherine “Kitty” Katt space adventure (after Alien in the Family) takes things up several notches: the characters develop in interesting ways, the continual banter never gets stale, and there are only a few slow moments. The pregnant Kitty and her super-sexy Alpha Centaurian husband, Jeff, are about to do their own proliferating, and their hybrid baby brings its own set of surprises. Meanwhile, a smoke-and-mirrors plot is brewing against the core of Earth’s AC society that will draw Kitty toward a horrific discovery practically at their doorstep, a stark and heartbreaking break in the story’s otherwise mostly lighthearted atmosphere. Koch still pulls the neat trick of quietly weaving in plot threads that go unrecognized until they start tying together—or snapping. This is a hyperspeed-paced addition to a series that shows no signs of slowing down. Agent: Cherry Weiner. (Dec.)

Library Journal
Just as Katherine "Kitty" Katt-Martini and new husband, Jeff, discover that their first child has extraordinary powers, they find out that someone wants their baby. The fourth title in Koch's "Alien" series (Touched by an Alien; Alien Tango; Alien in the Family) should be popular with series fans.

Meet the Author

Gini Koch lives in the American Southwest, works her butt off (sadly, not literally) by day, and writes by night with the rest of the beautiful people. Touched by an Alien, the first in her Alien/Katherine “Kitty” Katt Series, received a starred review from Booklist and was named one of Booklist’s Top Ten adult science fiction and fantasy novels of 2010. Alien Tango released December 7, 2010, with Alien in the Family releasing April 5, 2011, and Alien Proliferation in Winter 2011. Gini started writing as an excuse to stay up late playing on the computer while listening to rock music and mooning over pictures of hunky men. She's thrilled all that drooling has finally paid off. I LOVE this series and adore the author. It's fun, imaginative and it really pulls you in. Plus I want my very own Poof. I cannot wait for the next book. When can I pre-order it for my nook?

I love this series and cant wait till the next one comes out. In this one Kitty has a super-baby and she gains super-powers. This is one of my favorites because you see some of the main characters that are deeply attached to Kitty start to move on in the romantic interests. I think everyone should read this.
