Overview

Wilks, Billie, and Bueller were the last survivors of a devastating assault on the aliens' home planet.  But once their retum to the solar system made them refugees once more, fleeing Earth and its alien infestation in a desperate attempt to stay alive.  Now, in an otherwise unmanned military transport, they hurtle through space.  Destination: unknown.

Little do they know that the cargo they carry with them is a legacy of death that they will ultimately have to face. Nor do they know that they head toward a remote colony and military outpost.  This pocket of humanity at the very edges of space is at the mercy of a general names Spears with an agenda all his own.  Now Billie, Wilks, and Bueller face a new nightmare, and it is nothing they could ever have imagined: a gift of madness from an alien world, unbalanced mind, and the experiences of a mysterious pilot named Lieutenant Ellen Ripley.

The second in a series of alien adventures based on the extraordinary universe as portrayed in the Aliens movies and the Dark Horse graphic novels. Nightmare Asylum tells the story of two survivors of Earth's alien invasion who escape to a remote military outpost. There they discover a commander's plot to take Earth back--with an alien army of his own. Original.

    A continuation of the nightmare

Continuing the story from Aliens: Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum follows Bueller, Wilks, and Billie as they manage to escape the slaughter of the rest of the Marines they were sent to the Alien¿s home world with. They return to earth, only to find it completely overrun by aliens with few human survivors. The trio manages to escape to the cold confines of space, just to flee into the arms of a madman. This book is fast paced, full of action and great character moments. It was adapted from Dark Horse comics graphic novel Aliens Nightmare Asylum 1569712174. This comic book version uses Hicks and Newt, but the Steve Perry version that doesn¿t is as good, which is a huge compliment. The book is a fast, fun read, perfect for light vacation reading if being scared is your cup of tea, because this book is frightening, one of the scariest of the aliens series. Highly recommended to fans of the Aliens films and sci-fi fans everywhere.

    Aliens Books are OUTSTANDING!

The title depicks the plot and spells it out. It is a great thriller suspence. If you like sci-fi book you'll love this one, but you should read the first one so you understand the characters.
