Meet the Author

To write or not to write. It isn't so much a question as it is a need. With so many characters vying for a chance for their story to be told, it's little wonder this California native took the plunge and penned a short romance. Miriam finds pleasure in bringing her characters to life, giving them a chance to tell their story as only they can. She writes what interests her--contemporary and, most recently, sci-fi/fantasy--and always ensures her characters find the happily-ever-after they rightfully deserve.

I finished this in one sitting. Good story line with a nice flow to the writing. Grammar and punctuation on target. Would recommend. Thank you!

Just like the headline says this was a great short love story. It really captured the stages of falling in love very well from the beginning and how the one you love matters most. I would defiantly read again.

I loved this book. It was so cute and sweet and had enough small little plot to not just be some romance novel. My only complaint is that it was 96 pages long, and should have been longer! None the less, great read!

This was a great book. Its a short book, 98 pages, but it had a wonderful story. It does go a little fast so i wouldnt recommend this book for younger readers. Its nice that there are no sexual scenes but still portrays the love between the charaters. This is a wonderful book i loved it!!

Cute story, completely predictable. Numerous grammatical errors - missing words; odd, missing, and/or double punctuation; capitalization errors; etc. At about 80% through, I started to get irritated - the characters were so blatant with their actions but the narration kept saying that they where unsure. Come on! You'd have to be completely stupid go miss it and yet the characters continued to miss it until the last few pages. A little more work, editing, and thought and it could be pretty good.

The author shows promise, but this novel needs more plot and character development. The story was pretty ludicrous, to be honest.

Yes it is a short, quick read. Clean and modest in a romantic sort of way showing the steps to understanding what love is.

98 pages Short, sweet love story but predictible plot. Good for a quick, easy read although I generally prefer a longer, less romantic story.**

Pretty good book. I would have liked it to have been a bit slower. But other than that i really liked how it really made you enchanted by the true meaning of love at first sight. I recomment this book to readers at least 11 and up.

Delightful read. I really came to like the characters. The development of the relationship is nicely done. The way that Cole helps Alison deal with her grief is touching. Well done. All read

This was a novella about a woman who started working for a wealthy man. At first he was hesitant in hiring her but soon found she was more than capable of running his house and doing his errands. She had a secret. Would she ever need to share it?  He was skeptical when it came to women. There were few genuine women who weren't just after wealth. This is a Chick-lit tale but mostly clean, well-written and good, light. reading.   There were a few grammatical errors but easily corrected.  I was disappointed in the abrupt ending before the Epilogue. The Epilogue helped but it would have been more entertaining with the finishing touches on the ending

This book was a nice surprise compared to the other free books. Good story, good ending, and not filled with graphic sex scenes. Good fashioned romance.

Very short story(98) pages. Not enough time to really develop the plot and characters. Sweet, though unrealistic and sappy story. If you have an hour to kill, it is worth the read.
