3rd Party's debut album Alive is an enjoyable cross between post-Spice Girls dance-pop and Mariah Carey balladry, highlighted by the uptempo "Can U Feel It" and "Love Is Alive." Like the Spice Girls, the group isn't totally the puppet of their producers -- singer Maria Christensen wrote four songs on the album -- and are racially integrated.
