This album contains 30 of the Old 97s best songs performed live.

The production values of the live concert make the songs come off a little more 'Hard Rock' than they do on the Old 97s studio albums, except for maybe Too Far Too Care. But that's alright with me. I like the hard-rocking intensity of this album.

The album leads off with an urgent performance of "Melt Show" followed by a triumphant "New Kid". "King Of All The World", "Coahilla", "The Other Shoe", and "Doreen" are also highlights of disc one.

The disc two has smoking versions of "Designs On You", "Curtain Calls", "Must Have Been Stoned", "Cryin' Drunk". And disc two closes things down with a dynamic rendition of "Timebomb".

Great live album! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
