Looking for a friend


Sally went for a walk one day she was feeling very lonely. When she came upon a stream she had to get a drink of water. As she was getting the water a snake came up out the water to talk to her. I hear you need a friend and Sally said you are so wise. The snake said do not be lonely I am now your friend.

Sally and the snake walked on down the path. They came to a honey tree. The bee said I can buzz and fly and be your friend. Sally said come on I have two friends now. So Sally the snake and the bee went on down the road.

Sally and the snake and the bee went on down the road they came to a fence. The horse said where are you going Sally said I am looking for friends. The horse said I can be your friend too. Sally said come on horse we can all be friends so the snake, bee, and horse went on down the road. Sally said I have three friends now.

Sally the snake and bee and the horse went on down the road they came to a pile of straw a rat said hello. Where are yall going. Sally said we going to play, the rat said can I come and Sally said yes. I have four friends now. All the friends went down the road.

Sally and her friends were playing, running down the road. Sally heard a meow they all looked up. It was a cat in a tree.

Sally said we are all friends here. The cat said I have no friends, Sally said you can be our friend now. So Sally and all her new friends started down the road. Sally had five friends now.

Sally and her friends sit on a log to take a rest break. The log started to holler they all jumped up. The log had a dog in it, the dog said where yall going. Sally said these are my new friends and you can be a friend too. Sally and her friends went on down the road. Sally said I have six friends now.

Sally and her friends went on down the road. They came to a bridge and a fish jumped up where yall going he said. Sally said we are all friends and we are going to town. The fish said can I be a friend and go too. Sally said come on you can ride the horse to town. Sally said I have seven friends now.
