    Very good read.

    The description of the book that is provided by the site is extremely inaccurate. It is not a sequel to Colter's Woman, that book is a completely different author.

    This story is about a Viking that suffers the ultimate betrayal by the woman he loves. He ended up in service to the Goddess Freya. He became a Phoenix, bound to change the destiny of of whomever gains his talisman. Constantly seeking his own freedom so he might gain vengence upon the one that murdered him.

    Calleigh is a girl that hasn't had anything go right for her all week. She found out that her fiance was cheating on her with her best friend/cousin. So she set out to have a bonfire with all the stuff he left in her house, starting with that weird eagle looking thing she ordered for his birthday from e-bay...

    I'd recommend the book. It is a romantic read, but there are no explicit sex scenes. It has a fairly good plot line, though it did remind me of the Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
