Meet the Author

I've always been a rather private person, still am in fact. Publishing a book wasn't easy for me, as it meant showcasing myself to anyone who picked up my work. It took me a long time to muster the courage to finally do it. I've always believed that an author's work is a window into their mind, knowing this and being rather self-conscience, I've always been a tad afraid to let anyone have a peek into mine.Ruling Body has been something I've been working on for a number of years, trying to perfect it and of course, enjoy it. These characters are dear to me, and at the end of it all, seven books in total, I hope others will enjoy the stories, the characters, and their situations.Once these stories are finished, I plan to settle into another science fiction series I started a number of years ago. We shall see what the future brings.

    Words fail me.

Am I missing something here? I always read through to the end, even when I don't appreciate a book. However, when readers have contacted the writer about typos in an e-book, shouldn't the typos be corrected? How difficult can that be?

I tried to keep an open mind about the subject of this book. But I won't be wasting any more money to read the four I
missed or the final book of the series.

I noticed one of the reviewers remark that this Michael Stark is not the same author of "The Island". If this is indeed true, please clarify yourself as such.

How do I put this? I am not Catholic, yet took great offense to Madonna getting it on with an icon in a church. AND I LOVE MADONNA's musical talents. I believe in the freedom of speech and press. I am totally opposed to regulations or bans of any form of art, past or present. But I cannot read a book that is trying to turn slavery or caste systems into something justified or good. Just as I did not need to be Catholic to be offended by Madonna's video, I don't need to be Black to take offense about this book. You have the right to write it; I have the right not to waste my money and time reading it.

If you are not THE MICHAEL STARK, maybe you need to refund monies paid by people who thought they were buying his works. I will be googling tomorrow to sort this out.
