Overview

Disowned by her wealthy family financially and emotionally, The spoiled and selfish, Bri Cleyvon, ignored her parents pleas and married Tyrone Grant anyway. Too late Bri realized her mistake. Three years late, with her infant son in her arms, Bri fled the prison her abusive husband built around her. Now settled in Virginia, so she could again focus on her painting. When word of her father's illness came to her via the handsome Trevet Harrison, her father's law partner, Bri knew it was time to go home face her parents and beg their forgiveness. When Trevet found Bri he couldn't help but dislike her. He remembered well how spoiled and selfish she was and the disrespect she showed her parents. If he had his way he would leave just where she was, but that was not his call and he would do anything his power to please her father. Only thing was this was not the Bri he remembered. This Bri was not only beautiful, she was also kind and intelligent. He already loved and bonded with her son. Could he feel the same about the new Brianna Cleyvon?

This story was short and sweet with tons of potential. With a little work and some character development it could be a fairly decent romance novel. What spoiled it was the COMPLETE LACK of editing. I honestly believe the author must have tossed this story off in in a couple of hours and then submitted it without bothering to proof for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling. etc. And I'm not talking about occasional misuse; there are errors in almost every paragraph. They are distracting and, in some cases, render serious moments almost laughable. Most word processing programs come with spellcheck, grammar check and can access a dictionary and thesaurus. I recommend that this author learn to utilize them.
