The electronica all music guide is a rare specimen. If you are - like I am - a fan of any electronic music & have a broad taste: this is your bible. It's not limited to strict electronics (e.g. David Bowie, Pink Floyd are present) and most of all, it doesn't merely include dance oriented music, which nowadays seems to be used as a synonym for electronic music. You have the 'intelligent' techno (e.g. Warp label) and the dance scene ànd ambient music. This volume is by consequence exhaustive, but not all the way: not all releases of every artist are included, and sometimes it is not decipherable why a certain cd or ep is not in the list. Another weaker point is the fact that the reviews are clearly 'picked' out of other magazines and don't seem to connect within the lemma of one artist. This is why I say 4/5 and not 5/5. But if your kick is any kind of e-music: this guide is essential on your bookshelf. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
