Publishers Weekly

Wilde's Wedding Veil Wishes series concludes with this mellow fourth installment (after 2008's Addicted to Love). Talented architect Tucker Manning has retreated to Salvation, Colo., after the untimely death of his young wife, Aimee. Though Tucker's father-in-law, Blake, deeded him the lake house in Salvation, Houston attorney Jillian Samuels claims that Blake, her mentor, bequeathed the house to her before his death. Calling a truce, Jillian and Tuck agree to reside in the house together until they can sort out the conundrum. As Tuck attempts to overcome his guilt and sorrow over Aimee's death, Jillian searches for love despite fearing rejection. Their physical attraction heats up the pages, but their personal development forms the heart and soul of the novel, a delicately revealing in-depth character study. Wilde's clever combination of humor, sorrow and love brings a deeply appealing sense of realism. (Apr.)

I had never read any books by Lori Wilde and bought this book because of the cover (I love dogs). I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. It was just a "fun" book. Not a lot of thinking involved so it was an easy, enjoyable read. There were some "hot, steamy" pages too. I did not realize this was the fourth book in the "Wedding Veil Wishes" when I purchased it and am now going to go back and read the first three books. Even if you have not read the first three books, you can read this one and still follow the characters. I usually sell my books after I read them but will keep this one and share it with my friends. If you love romance and humor, you will enjoy this book!

I LOVED this book. I thought there was no way the author could top the third book, but she completely and totally did. It was an amazing story line, amazing characters, and an amazing plot. I wish there was another book returning to Salvation, Colorado so I could spend more time with these characters. Sad that the series is over but the author went out with a real masterpiece!!

It all starts with a magic wedding veil. Jillian receives it from Rachael who made a wish and the feell in love and got married, so she gives it to Jillian. This book is about Jillian who has 4 close friends but friends with only one co-worker. She feels like she can tell Blake her co-worker anything because he's like the dad she never had. When something happens to Blake she goes to Salvation, Colorado where she bumps into Tuck. They become roomates but there is definately chemistry there. She starts practicing as the local attorney and Tuck is the carpenter. They date others and then finally figure out that maybe they were meant to be......
Great story. Didn't want to put it down. The chemistry in this story is awesome. I love it.

I have to say that I was not expecting much from this book. I expected a sweet little romance novel. One that I could read quickly with little effort and forget as quickly as I read it. I found that this was for the most part true except that All of Me will not be easily forgotten. My favorite type of romance novels are the ones where the lead couple has a contentious relationship that eventually develops into something romantic (guess where that comes from). I call it the Lizzy/Darcy complex. Tuck and Jillian from All of Me are the perfect example of that type of romantic plot. The tension between them is palpable and I love that you can tell that behind every fight or disagreement is an intense attraction to each other. It is very unusual for me to like all of the characters in a book. Especially in a romance novel. Usually one of the main characters make me want to pull my hair out in annoyance. I found that this is mostly not true. On a few occasions both Jillian and Tuck have episodes of misery wallowing that got my hackles up but for the most part I really liked both of them. I also really liked the secondary couple of Evie, Tuck's sister, and Ridley, her husband. They were so sweet and definitely made up for the times I was annoyed with Jillian and Tuck. Another major attraction to the book is the small town feel that permeates the novel. You feel as if you are a part of the town just watching the events go by. I read this book in one afternoon. It is a quick and fun read. It is perfect for the summer. I want to read the rest of the Wedding Veils series once my huge pile of To Reads shrinks a little. I would recommend All of Me to any reader looking for a quick read with a lot of romantic tension and interesting characters.

Struggling to cope with the death of his wife Aimee, architect Tucker Manning leaves for his self imposed exile to Salvation, Colorado. He hopes to grieve in peace at the lake house his father-in-law Blake gave him. Houston attorney Jillian Samuels arrives to find Tucker there. She insists the lake house is hers as her beloved mentor Blake meant for her to inherit the Salvation home. Rather than fight in court, Jillian and Tuck reach an agreement to co-share the house for now until they can come up with a more suitable arrangement. Both are stunned by the attraction each feels from the first encounter. Whereas Tuck feels remorse and betrayal of his love for Aimee though she passed away two years ago, Jillian takes a chance on love if he allows her. The fourth Wedding Veil Wishes tales (see THERE GOES THE BRIDE, ONCE SMITTEN, TWICE SHY and ADDICTED TO LOVE) is a warm serene character study. Jillian in a fully developed person, but the relationship drama is owned by Tuck as Lori Wilde goes deep inside his soul. Fans who appreciate a sometimes amusing but always pathos second chance at life (and love) will enjoy this profound contemporary. Harriet Klausner

Lori Wilde, is an accomplished romance author, was a RITA finalist in the Romance Writers of America, and a three-time Romantic Times nominee for Best Romantic Comedy. Other titles include: Addicted to Love, Once Smitten Twice Shy, There Goes the Bride, You Only Love Twice, Mission: Irresistible, Charmed and Dangerous, and License to Thrill. She resides in Texas.
When attorney, Jillian Samuels career took a nose-dive after a bitter betrayal, leaving her jobless and heart-broken, she thought the newly inherited cottage in Salvation, Colorado was just what she needed to start over and heal. But when she arrives, she finds Tucker Manning residing there instead. Confused, the two agree to live together until they can resolve just who it is who really inherited the cottage in the small mountain community. Tucker, still grieving over the loss of his wife two years ago, and Jillian, unable to trust in love or fairy tales, discover that more than a property dispute is at risk here when things between them heat up, it¿s their hearts as well!
This book is part of the Wedding Veil Wishes series by this author, and I think there are four books total. I found this book delightful and funny. There was a strong element when referring to the deceased wife, and you could feel your heart breaking for Tucker. It¿s always difficult to have a young character as a widower, because you have to make the plot realistic to the situation. I found this very true-to-life and didn¿t question the characters motives surrounding the issue. The setting was perfect, as it provided both an escape and sanctuary for the characters. The wedding veil and back-story was cute, adding just a bit of fairy tale without over-doing it. Without having to issue a spoiler alert, I thought that how the property dispute came to be and its resolve was cleverly done. The plot flowed smoothly, was well-paced, and difficult to put down. I loved the secondary characters in the small town, as well as Jillian¿s friends. Remind me to never get in a sweat lodge for a vision quest! And, may I add, Mutt was just endearing!
All of Me, by Lori Wilde, is a feel-good, sweet, and charming book that you simply must read!
