Where to begin? Nell is a girl focused on her future. Organized and knows what she wants in life, or does she? She creates a college "Bucket List" to make up for the social life she doesn't have. "I used to think about the future in terms of goals and achievements, and now all I can think of is all the things I might end up regretting. And it’s all this stupid list’s fault." In comes Torres. Sexy, confident and loves to have fun! Who better than to show Nell the time of her life. "I just want to know what you like. It’s entirely selfish. You've got your list, and I've got mine. And knowing what it takes to get you off is right at the top for me. I’m saying that I’d love to be the person to help satisfy your curiosity, the one to help you figure out what you like." All Played Out is such a fun read! It's sexy and romantic.Cora does a great job of writing stories that you can relate to. I found myself experiencing a range of emotions. When an author can make you laugh out loud, cause you to turn beet red (Go Rusk RED!) from embarrassment, and get you all hot and bothered? That's a book worth reading! It's flows beautifully & is never a bore. My cheeks were hurting from smiling so dang much! In honor of Nell's Bucket List, here is mine! 1) See the Northern Lights in all their beautiful glory! 2) Travel the world & learn new cultures. 3) Publish my own novel 4) Conquer my fear of heights by Sky Diving 5) Kiss in the Rain 6) Know that I made a difference in someone's life in a positive light What's your bucket list? Think about that while reading APO! Go on an adventure like Nell & live life the way you want to live it! No-Holds-Barred

I've loved all three books in this series.  Loved them hard.  But I think Mateo is my favorite.  I think this book is my favorite of the series.  I think this book is in my top five for the year. I love these characters.  I'd met Torres before and he was charming and adorable but now I know Mateo and he'll never be Torres to me again.  He wants all of Nell's firsts and with each one they share, he becomes more and more attached. He's patient with her and yet he challenges her.  He needs her, he just doesn't realize it right away.  Nell needs Mateo too.  He balances her and brings out feeling in her she thought would never happen, thought couldn't happen.  Together they are yum.  And most importantly, Nell can see the future better in Mateo's arms.  I loved her logical mind and self doubt.  She feels real to me. The story didn't go quite the way I expected which made me very happy.  I loved how I was surprised a few times as things played out between them.  They didn't take the normal path, but why should they?  They aren't the normal couple. You want this book.  You want this series.  You want this author.  Just read it.

You guys. This was my favorite of the Rusk U books thus far! I absolutely adored Mateo and Nell... and their chemistry? Off the charts HOT! Whew! I loved being back with the gang and I'm really looking forward to Stella's book, even though I know it's going to hurt something fierce. I really liked seeing her and Nell interact though. It definitely gave me hope for Stella that she will get through everything that has happened, because she has some amazing people on her side. Mateo and Nell are opposites in every way. Mateo is the more flirtatious, outgoing, happy go lucky kind of guy who really can't be taken too seriously, where Nell is all about serious. She's extremely driven, studious, and has a very specific plan for her future. She's also on the shyer, quieter side. Lately, however, Nell has been feeling a bit caged in and finds herself wanting to be a bit on the wilder side. She has been so dedicated to her studies for so long, that she feels like she's missing out on a lot of really great experiences. With her graduating after only two years, (there's a reason Mateo calls her girl genius!) she's really feeling her time is limited before she starts looking into graduate schools. I think part of this has to do with seeing her roommate Dylan and her new boyfriend, Silas. Nell is fascinated by them as a couple and how effortlessly the two complement one another. Dylan warns Mateo away from her friend, but he's always liked more quiet, shy girls. Nell reminds him of the first girl he really loved, so he's naturally drawn to her. As he gets to know her however, he starts to see her for her and the great person she is. I loved seeing him bring her out of her shell and good Lord, can that boy dirty talk like a champ. I loved how unashamed he was when it came to being sexual and I think his attitude really helped her because he didn't skirt around what he wanted. Their scenes were so incredible together and I really needed a fan after it was all said and done! I do feel the storyline wasn't overly original, with Nell checking items off her college bucket list, as I've read a few other NA's like that, but that is really a moot point. Carmack's writing is all her own and I was so engaged in the story, that it didn't even matter. It was fun, sexy, and had it's tender, more serious moments. I loved seeing the gang and how tight knit of a group they are. I really feel that is going to be a huge factor in the next book. So. In conclusion- you need this book. It's so much fun watching Nell come out of her shell, especially with Mateo- who is just a goofy, loveable guy. I love that she is a bit nerdy with her scientific brain and how she looks at things so differently. It made for a great reading experience and I will definitely be keeping this book close when I'm in need of some sexy times and fun banter!

I really enjoyed this third book in the Rusk University series. Brainiac Nell DeLuca is all about studying and getting ready to graduate so she can move on to graduate school. Oh and did I mention she's only 20?! Mateo Torres is a wide receiver on the Rusk football team and is exactly the opposite of Nell...he loves to party and knows how to enjoy college life. With only a small amount of time left before she graduates, Nell decides it's time to make a bucket list of the "normal" college things she needs to experience before she receives her diploma. With the help of her roommate Dylan, she sets out to attend a college party and stay for more than 30 minutes, which is where she encounters Mateo and things begin to change drastically for her. Mateo isn't known for having a girlfriend, it's more what girl he's going to be with for that night. His friends, and Dylan, warn him that Nell isn't like the other girls that he's been involved with and he needs to tread carefully. What they don't realize is he is drawn to Nell in a totally different way, and part of it is that she reminds him of someone from his past. Will that prove to be a good thing, or will it harpoon this relationship before it even begins? I adore the world that Cora Carmack has created at Rusk University. The characters are so likable and they are people you'd just like to hang out with. I would recommend this series to anyone and I'm looking forward to the next book in 2016!

All Played Out is so freaking fabulous I really can’t stand it. I seriously thought Cora Carmack’s Rusk series couldn’t be more amazing she comes out with All Played Out. We got introduced to Nell in the previous book as Dylan’s roommate. After Nell has seen how happy Dylan and Silas are, Nell starts thinking about all the stuff she’s missed focusing on school. To help her get the “full college experience” Nell decides to make a bucket list. Parties, skinny-dipping, losing her virginity, everything she can think of about the college experience goes on there. Only she didn’t expect Mateo Torres to take an interest. Now Mateo and Nell are crossing off Nell’s bucket list while falling for each other. Mateo is the guy that’s never serious. He came from a poor back ground and he’s doing everything he can to forget his background. Now he’s focused on being the best football player he can be and on Nell’s bucket list.  Man oh man I LOVED MATEO! He is honestly one of my favorite boys in this series. He’s so freaking hilarious and real and I just loved his character so much. He’s definitely amazing. I enjoyed how he grew so much throughout the book and yet remained his amazingly funny self.  Nell is the typical nerdy girl. Virgin, shy, always focused on school. I didn’t love Nell’s character as much as Dallas and Dylan but she was still a cute character. Nell definitely came out of her shy shell into a independent and confident woman.  Cora Carmack did another amazing job with All Played Out. I love how she covers real issues college students really deal with. I enjoy the Rusk books realism and the fantastic writing in these stories.  Need Stella’s books now! WANTING WANTING WANTING!!!!

This was by far my favorite book in the series. Although, I always say that about the new book in a series. I love Torres. He comes across as this carefree guy, but inside  he is conflicted.  I love how Nell takes the bull by the horns and decides she's going to make a change in her life, at least for a little bit. It takes a strong girl to be able to do something like that and stick to it through thick and thin.

If you are a Rusk returner, then you know Mateo Torres as the guy with memorable one-liners and less clothing than the average citizen. In "All Played Out", we get to see beneath that pretty face and into that troublemaking heart and soul. Antonella De Luca is smart, inexperienced, and more than a little disappointed with her current status in life. She's always been an overachiever, and she knows what she wants...so she thinks...maybe.... OR maybe what she'll have to explore the world a wee bit more to find out what's really important to her.  Cora Carmack excels in taking the awkward that we all feel and turning it into something we can embrace with open arms. And let me tell you, I haven't felt this way about a pair since Garrick and Bliss in Carmack's "Losing It". I honestly never expected to enjoy another piece of literature as much as I enjoyed "Losing It", that book is just IT for me. But to my surprise, I found myself ridiculously attached to these fictitious characters and waaaay too invested in their lives than is probably normal and/or healthy. Carmack knows how to draw you in and keep you there, and APO is a shining example of that talent. Now all I can do is beg for someone to HELP ME FIND A MATEO TORRES.

I'm going to start this review off with a round of slow claps. No, really. Everyone...please join in. Cora Carmack has an amazing gift. I loved All Lined up and All Broke Down so much, I knew All Played Out was going to be amazing. Little did I know, All Played Out turned out to be my favorite book in the Rusk series yet! Seriously. It was fan-f*^king-tastic! I want to reread it all over again and relive the feels!  Though it is another book about football, romance, and two completely different people coming together, this book was written in a way that it makes it different from all the others. It was unique and SO fun to read about the two leads!! Nell and Torres are pretty much the epitome of 'opposites attract'. But when their two worlds collide, there's not a doubt that these two were meant to be.  I don't know where to begin because I just want to say everything at once. So I guess I'll start off with the wonderful Mateo Torres.  Mateo Torres was mentioned in the previous books as an overly confident jokester and never took anything seriously (besides football). Not only did he make himself the center of attention off the field, but on the field too. He took risks. Being the wide receiver, if there was an insane catch, he was the one all over it. If there was a party, he was the one who ended up with no clothes on, passed out in the middle of everything. And though it looks like he has everything laid out in front of him, he doesn't. He's hiding something. And that something keeps him at an arms length with every girl he meets. Except for one.  "Nell" De Luca. She's quiet, has straight A's, focused, never settles for second best, and makes a ton of lists. After watching her roommate, Dylan, get sucked up into the world of Silas, a Rusk football player, she had mixed thoughts. She had worked her whole life to get where she was, but was it enough? Needless to say, Nell hasn't done at least 99.9% of the things a normal college student has done. Therefore, she makes a list, and sets off to finish it before she graduates in two months.  I said this in my review of All Broke Down, and I meant it. Cora has a knack for character growth. These two complimented each other so well!!! It's so hard to explain my love for this book without giving too much away.  So I'll just make my own list of reasons why I loved this book.  1. Hooked from page 1.  2. Female characters who can hold their own.  3. Witty lines that will have you literally have you cracking up.  4. Lines that will draw a straight blush on your cheeks.  5. Hot dudes. 6. Hot dudes with abs.  7. Dudes in spandex.  8. Dudes who end up with no spandex...  9. THE FEELS.  10. Character growth.  11. Couldn't put it down.  Anyways. Before I make this review into a book, I'll sum it all up. This book is amazing. I recommend everyone 17+ to read this series. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, and Cora never disappoints me.
