    Wow...

Death, fighting, sleeping, and even living in the trenches of WW1. I was amazed to what this book tells. After reading I also developed interest within learning of "The War to End All Wars." Such many lives were lost...

The alternate angle is a different and well defined look into WW1.Remarque gives a detailed look into the worst side of war the losing end. He gives lots of details to keep you enticed when you read it. The details that he goes into let you really experience what the war is like. It is so well written that in some moments when you get lost in the book you think your actually there. During some of the enticing battle scenes its easy to let the time fly by. That is why this is such a great war novel to read.

    Not Bad

I have to read this book for summer reading because I am attending B.C. High next year and I don't usually read for pleasure but I enjoy war stories so even if you don't have to read this, you should.

    Ninth Grader

I am reading this book at the moment and I am thouroughly enjoying it. I did have to go back and read the beggining again because it was slightly confusing. Sure to give it five stars once I'm through.

    Front of the Back

This is the second war novel that I have read. This book got into detail about what the front lines would be like if you were in battle mode. I would strongly recommend this book to college level readers as well as beginners. This novel gives you an in-depth look of how grim WW1 was.

    Excellent World War One Novel

This book Is one of my all time favorites, Eric Maria Remarque goes to great lengths to bring detail and description into the World War One genre. This book shows the conditions that the German soldiers had to face in the trenches and it also highlights the horrors of trench warfare.

    Power of a War

All Quiet on the Western Front was a book that really goes into the main characters, Paul Baumer, thoughts and feelings. It takes what the character goes through and describes it on a personal level. It also describes on what not only one war could look like but others. It shows the relationship that the character has with other characters involved. Although they are minor to the story they are still a big impact on what goes on. It shows how the power of a war is very tough and you have to know how to control your strength. It describes many things well, but it doesnt really have the power of imagine to capture the readers eye. It doesn't give the action and the info on the enemies. All and all this book showed me that the army isn't all that fun and glory it is dedicated work and toughness.

    good book

i had a hard time putting this book down, it kept me on the edge of my seat.all quiet on the western front had me eager to learn more about world war I on my own. Erich Maria Remarque did a great job on going into detail, and explaination. it made itmoreinteresting that it was in first person narration,it gave the book something extra. i personally am a person that does not like to read on my own but i can homestly say that i had no problem pickign up this book and reading it on my spair time. in my opinion all quiet on the western front is a book that all teenagers will enjoy. i think that we can all relate to some of the feelings paul had went through and had to overcome.i personally am not amused by fantisy books,i would much ratherpick up a non ficton book and lern about real things that occured in history. it your a person likeme i really recomend that you read this book.
