For mall cop E.J. Ferris, catching customers who “forgot to pay” is quite a change of pace from her former life in the military. But when a real crisis heats up her climate-controlled domain, her old instincts come back quicker than last year’s skinny jeans.
On good days, Fernglen Galleria is a tranquil haven of capitalist splendor—but today is not one of those days. Arriving for her morning shift, E.J. spots a sleeping homeless person outside the east entrance. But the teenage boy turns out to be neither homeless nor asleep. He is, however, dead.
With half the security cameras sabotaged, no one can be sure what happened. E.J. is determined to help solve the case—whether Homicide Detective Helland likes it or not. Uncovering a deadly conspiracy right in her own mall, E.J is about to catch a killer, or get put on lay-away for good…

I enjoyed her first book, DIE BUYING, in this series, and really liked this one! The continuing characters in her book feel real and you want to get to know them better in the next book. Cannot wait for #3 in the Mall Cop Series.

I loved the first book in the mall cop series, Die Buying, and I love All Sales Fatal just as much. The two books have the same main character EJ Ferris, but the plot couldn't be more different. I couldn't believe EJ's boss Captain Woskowicz at the shopping mall, where she's a security guard, gets murdered. Boy, do we get to learn a thing or two about the boss: three ex-wives, or almost ex-wives, and some interesting business dealings he'd been having. I was also intrigued to see how EJ's love interests between a pseudo-cookie maker and a detective turned out. I didn't get an answer to the boyfriend part, so I'm looking forward to finding out which man she picks in Laura DiSilvario's next mall cop book. This author never disappoints.

this second story in this series doesn't diappoint. you would think a mall cops life would be boring, but not in these stories. ej, finds lots of excitement in her mall cop's job. she is a veteran from the middle east with a bum knee, that got her discharged, a war wound. she would like to be a 'real' cop but the knee prevents that. her boss is not nice, and has some illegal activities that cause him dead. ej investigates. a man is found dead outside a mall entrance, connected? maybe? this series is not to be missed, writing is fabulous, the characters are interesting, and the mystery intriguing. i had a hard time putting this cozy down.
