This cd is okay but its a live document from 2009 of a band that doesn't really play much live anymore. As a relic of 09 it has some value and as a memento of some sort of vaguelly misguided Berlin mania from that time its pretty much the thing. Bands like this seem to exist to make things to add to one's collection, so add it. But don't think that its really a document of an actual live band. Its more like a poorly recorded studio album or something. They don't really play live much at this point. They keep saying they're making a new album. It never comes out. They do all these odd little things, but they really aren't a live band now. When this was released they were. In fact they'd spun out of control as a live band that played to people who knew nothing of their albums. All live, nothing else. In 2009. But now its an endless promise of a new album (studio) that never comes out. They aren't really a live band now. Now they're a studio band endlessly working on an album that never comes out. This is a good release but its a memory of something that doesn't seem to exist now. Don't get fooled into thinking that this a document of reality or a studio album or really a normal live album or even something current. A collectable to be sure but don't get too excited. They don't seem to want to deliver anything and only seem to do anything when forced to. Its a live album of a fantasy and in the real world they seem almost sadistic in their refusal to make anything available to the public, live or in the studio, endlessly recording an imaginary album with no name and no release date. It doesn't seem like they want people to hear their music, so be careful. They want your money but they don't want you. They want more money so they can make more money, they don't want anyone to hear their music unless they have to and they definetely don't want anyone to be a fan or to even hear their music. Just to give them more money. If only the critics were paying more attention to them, there is no one to take them to task. They do have an official facebook page now, but do they only post things on there from the public as some kind of power bargain? That's what it seems like...

Love this live CD though the sound mix at times is far from great. I love the song "Ordinary Girl" and Terri Nunn by no means is ordinary! If you are a Berlin fan, you will enjoy this CD.

At times, it was hard to figure out whether Berlin were an average synth pop band trying to carve out their own niche or just a mediocre rock band jumping on the new wave bandwagon. Sure, they had some good singles and radio hits, but as an album band, they left a lot to be desired.
