In fact, all of this material comes from Price's most popular period -- that much is true -- as a country music crooner with a golden voice and a load of strings behind him and a studio band. That doesn't mean this material is in any way second-rate, most of it is awesome stuff. It's simply that the compilers felt that even later recordings such as "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "Little Green Apples" are of the same stripe with Price's harder early material. It's not. That said, out of ...

    What an incredible singer!!

I just love this CD..it has so many of his wonderful songs. His renditions of Sweet Memories, You wouldn't Know Love, Crazy Arms, Heartaches By the Number.. all the songs are unbelievably beautiful because of Ray Price..I love the fact that all the songs, are the extended versions of the originals, I know because I had all his LP's in vinyl. I know you are going to love this CD, and all his music, just as much as I always have.

    A Living Legend

To me and to everyone I know, he is the best singer (along with Marty Robbins) that ever lived. He has an incredible voice, range, and flexibility of music rarely seen today. He could sing anything, any song, any note...His renditions of Danny Boy, For the Good Times, Heartaches By The Number, Sweet Memories..all the songs. I have enjoyed his music since I was a kid. You don't have to be a lover of country music to know that Ray Price is the best. I know you will enjoy his music as well. He is a living legend..

    I love this singer!!!!

I just received this CD. I've ordered the same one twice: one for the house and one for the car. Don't worry if when you receive your copy, the cover isn't the same as it is shown here. The CD is the same, with the same songs and extended versions. The only difference is the outer cover and picture. All the songs are amazing, but I just love his renditions of When I Loved Her, Crazy Arms, I Won't Mention It Again, I'd Rather Be Sorry, Sweet Memories...I Won't Mention It Again, will bring tears to your eyes. You can feel the sorrow and pain in his voice, it goes right through you...All his music is like that...He pulls you into his world and you feel everything...The best singer ever!
