This cd was a favorite of my two 4 year olds the moment they started listening. They love singing and dancing along, jumping up and down--this cd has been a real success! I really reccomend it for kids around that age.

My 5 year old son and I love this cd! He's just getting into music and it's such a relief to find something that's not cutesy and bland.

This CD is sickening. Kids have no right being anywhere near a microphone when The Beatles are involved. It should be a crime for any conservative and sheltering parent to buy this for their kid instead of the real thing. People think anything with kids on it is cute, it isn't. Don't buy this CD spend your hard-earned money on something more important, perhaps on something where you hear Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, and Starr. For those of you private-schooling parents, those are the last names of the REAL Beatles. Also, don't tell me I hate kids, I am a teacher.

My kids are among the artists on this CD, so you can't take my word for it. (But ... you can click the links on this page to hear them sing the lead vocals on "Birthday" and "Yellow Submarine.") Check out the lead Arts & Leisure piece from last Sunday, Nov. 26. It said this CD is in the vanguard of "a hipper niche of kid music," with real music instead of the saccharine stuff that is foist upon parents for their kids. The story quoted this CD's producer: “Parents are looking at music as a gift you give your children, as something you discover with them,” said Kevin Salem, a rock record producer in Woodstock, N.Y. “Sharing it is a way of making sure music stays in good hands.” With his wife, Kate Hyman, Mr. Salem formed Little Monster Records in part to guarantee that their 4-year-old daughter, Emily, is exposed to what her parents consider to be good music, like the label’s “All Together Now,” a Beatles tribute featuring Steve Conte of the New York Dolls, the Bangles and others that is being sold exclusively through Barnes & Noble.

The mixture of adult and kids voices creates a great sing-a-long CD. My 4&6 year olds love it!
