Barnes & Noble - Moira McCormick
Any parent knows that the surest way to get a toddler to listen to an unfamiliar new album - one that has no connection to a much-loved TV show or movie - is to make sure it features plenty of child singers. Just as pre-K kids and younger are fascinated by watching their peers perform on-screen, they're equally enthralled when they hear high-pitched voices that sound like their own. Leib Ostrow, executive producer of ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE and founder of the label it appears on, Music For Little People has applied that principle in creating this album, which is designed to introduce tots to the Beatles. Leib Ostrow, executive producer of ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE and founder of the label it appears on, Music For Little People has applied that principle in creating this album, which is designed to introduce tots to the Beatles. It's a baker's dozen of Fab Four tunes with exceptionally high kid appeal, performed by a children's chorus of all ages. The expected selections are here - "Yellow Submarine," "When I'm 64," "Here Comes the Sun," and "Yellow Submarine" this last with a guest lead vocal by children's superstar Raffi - but so are some Beatles' songs you wouldn't immediately peg as child-friendly. And they work, in particular the WHITE ALBUM's trippy classic "Dear Prudence," which will charm the very socks off your little ones. Ostrow has wrapped these tunes in gentle, acoustic, musical arrangements, resulting in maximum enjoyment by all family members; even Grandma won't ask to turn down the volume.
All Music Guide - Heather Phares
Kid Rhino's All You Need Is Love features a cast of children performing Beatles classics like the title track, "Dear Prudence," "Yellow Submarine," "Here Comes the Sun," "When I'm 64," and more. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Leib Ostrow, the album also includes guest artists like Raffi and Eric Bibb. All You Need Is Love is a thoughtful and entertaining album made with children and parents in mind.

Don't be mislead, this is not sung by the Beatles!

I understood this cd from its title to be Beatles songs suitable for kids but was sadly mistaken. It is infact a compolation of Beatles songs SUNG by KIDS for kids. I found this very misleading and felt that it should be made more obvious to the customer as if like me you are mislead by the advertising of this product, and don't find out until you play it that it is not what you were expecting, then you cannot return it...!!

    MEMORIES OF 1964

I bought this tape because I babysit a 1 year old and a 7 year old and we listen to toddler tunes on cable and everytimw songs from this cd comes on they start to dance and the 7 year old knows the lyrics.

I have pictures of their birthdays and I want to put them on a CD and Birthday is the perfect song for the background.

They will play this over and over

It was an instant hit and I couldn't put another CD on while in the car. Listening to a three year old sing "When I'm 64" is hysterical... but "All you need is love..." was the big favorite.
