This book sucked me in from the beginning. I could not put it down until I finished reading, which was within a days time. I didn't like the ending, it was way to sad. But overall I enjoyed each charater, I kind of felt like I was a part of the book at some points. Will be looking foward to reading your work in the future.

I dont knw what book you guys were reading, but i love this book. There were unanswer question cause there WILL BE A PART2. As far as Dashiki play her part, how can someone be the glue to bond them. When she didnt want to be, she put her sister out. She would have had to change the whole book. Keep bad comment to "ya self"

Nothing really positive I can say... the characters were undeveloped, the story line was ok- nothing exciting, and grammatical errors took away from really understanding the points the writer was trying to make. This makes me not have a reason to read/purchase projects from this author in the future.

Left a lot of unanswered questions. Lots of grammatical errors and too any ignorant conversations. I'd have liked to see more growth in each character. Dashiki character could have been the glue but instead she was downplayed. Just my opinion.

Overview
Laquita is raised in a two parent home...unlike most, but she is forced to deal with her parents constant abuse to one another, & drugs. By the time she was 17, Laquita had to leave home due to circumstances beyond her control, she moved in with her older sister Dashiki. Now Dashiki was grimey...she treated Laquita like complete shit! She gave her 'Lil sis no what so ever. Love, respect or compassion was out the door with Dashiki.Feeling like no one loved or cared for her, Laquita started looking for love in the opposite sex, only to be disappointed. After a while she hooked up with a local drug dealer, that treated her like no other. Quita hooks up with a local drug dealer that was...
