This is a fabulous book of recipes! I've been trying to bake wheat-free breads for some time, with varying, and often disappointing, results. Every recipe from this book that I have baked so far has been light and fluffy and flavorful. This book is worth buying just for the tremendous amount of information Sadowski provides. Information includes: multiple flour options (their flavors and how and when to use them), non-dairy options for replacing milk, five egg substitute ideas, and much much more! She explains the purpose for bread ingredients and how they affect the quality of the loaf, and included special tips on baking quick beads and yeast breads. I admit that some of the ingredients lists may seem a little long, but once you've bought the basics, you're set. And it will be worth it! I LOVE this book. Thank you, thank you, Laurie Sadowski, for writing it and sharinig your knowledge and years of experience. I can once again enjoy yummy, fluffy bread!

Sample does not inlude any recipes

My son has many allergies and I would love to buy this book. The intro is very thorough and informative!! However there aren't any sample recipes included. Nor can you tell if there will be pictures with recipes. I would have also like to have known if any of the recipes will use a bread machine, as I am looking for allergy-friendly recipes for my new bread maker. I guess I will look for this in the bookstore before deciding.
